Open canoeing on Windermere is a relaxing experience that you can enjoy in a pair or a trio, allowing you to explore the lake at your own pace.  It also offers the challenge and fun to be had with teamwork to synchronise your paddling rhythm! There's plenty to see and take in along the Windermere shoreline as well as the panoramic Lake District views afforded from the lake.

There is no minimum age to canoe, but we recommend that those in the canoe can support themselves unaided in changeable weather conditions.

A parent or legal guardian at least 18 years old must accompany under 18s at all times during the hire.
